ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES• Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or productionareas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, containers, by hand or using handtrucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, or other equipment.• Sort materials before loading and unloading.• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignmentsor material or equipment needs.• Record numbers of units handled or moved, using daily production sheets orwork tickets.• Maintain equipment storage areas to ensure that inventory is protected.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS• Frequently positioning of oneself to perform work tasks• Must be able to operate the manipulation of tools, objects and controls isnecessary• Move up to 40 pounds repeatedly• Ability to work in different climates, such as extreme hothumid or cold,for an entire shift.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS• High School Diploma or GED• Material Handling experience• Steel-toe shoesTo the extent permitted by law, passing consumer (drug screening andorbackground check) report inquiries may be necessary for employment purposes.ABOUT USI.K.
