The purpose of this position is to greet guests to the center in a professional, pleasant and efficient manner, managing switchboard operations, provide administrative support to the center that includes the facilitation of internal and external communication, and business services support.

The North Carolina Center for the Advancement of Teaching (NCCAT) is dedicated to serving pre-K through 12th grade schoolteachers to enhance the learning of the children of North Carolina. The Center's primary purpose is to provide high quality professional learning through residential, regional, school-based, and online programming. Program content is based on current needs of teachers and state initiatives.

This position provides administrative support for internal and external communication, switchboard management, and business services support.

High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) diploma and two years of related administrative experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
