Front Desk AgentLocation: 506 On the River Inn, Woodstock, Vermont Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Front Desk Attendant to oversee guest services and ensure a positive customer experience. Responsibilities include greeting guests, managing check-in/check-out procedures, handling inquiries, and supervising front desk operations. The role also involves financial transactions, inventory management, and maintaining safety and cleanliness standards. Ideal candidates are committed to excellence, detail-oriented, and possess strong communication and problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and assist guests with check-in/check-out
  • Handle reservations and inquiries
  • Manage cash transactions and maintain accurate records
  • Provide local information and recommendations
  • Address guest complaints promptly
  • Ensure safety and cleanliness of public areas
  • Train and supervise front desk staff
  • Provide friendly and attentive service to our guests
Qualifications:
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities
  • Ability to handle financial transactions accurately
  • Ability to use computers, email, Microsoft Word and Excel, and property management systems.
  • Experience in hospitality or related field preferred
  • Stand and move around for most of your shift
