Front Desk Agent - Tour Desk Full Time $16.00 - $17.00/Hour Saturday - Tuesday 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM Location: Gatlinburg Town Square by Exploria Resorts Job Summary: The Tour Desk Agent is responsible for providing the highest quality of service to guests in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner, by assisting with the tour registrations and supporting Sales and Marketing. They provide a welcoming attitude and are proficient in all service questions and requests.
Responsibilities and Duties - Approach all encounters with guests and team members in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
- Assist guests with the tour registration process.
- Entering accurate data into the system.
- Assist guests with the gifting process.
- Handle premium inventory utilized for gifting, such as, but not limited to, pre-paid cards, vouchers, and certificates.
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Exploria standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the resort.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming.
- Must, always, be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to all guests, managers, and other team members.
- Respond to guest requests promptly and promote the resort's services and amenities.
- Resolve minor guest complaints to the satisfaction of the guest.
Qualifications and Skills - High School diploma or equivalent and some customer service experience preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred.
- Strong computer skills required.
- Strong Customer Service skills.
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly, both oral and written.
- Must work well in fast paced, high-pressure situations.
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
- Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary.
- Must be effective at listening to, understanding and clarifying concerns and issues raised by team members and guests.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Demands: - Long hours sometimes required, including weekends, must be flexible with hours.
- Ability to be on your feet throughout the shift.
