Job Description:
Front Desk Assistant - Palm Beach Gardens, FLPay: $20/hr. Job Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Front Desk Assistant. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional service and support. This role involves managing front desk operations, scheduling appointments, and ensuring a smooth patient experience from arrival to departure.Working Conditions:
  • Must be able to work flexible hours as needed, 4-Day weekly schedule (Off on Tuesdays)
  • Mon & Wed (7:30 AM - 6:30 PM), 12 PM - 2 PM lunch
  • Thursday (2 PM - 6 PM or 4 PM -7 PM)
  • Fri (7:45 AM - 1 PM)
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
Responsibilities:
  • Processing claims accurately.
  • Complete work thoroughly with proper attention to detail.
  • Handle patient payments, including processing insurance claims and collecting co-pays or fees.
  • Manage patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes, including verifying and updating patient information.
  • Provide administrative support to chiropractors and other clinic staff as needed.
  • Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and handle patient inquiries promptly.
  • Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using the clinic's scheduling software.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
  • Coordinate with other team members to ensure efficient clinic operations.
  • Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or a related field is a plus.
  • 2+ years of previous experience in a front desk or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and a commitment to providing outstanding patient care.
