Front Desk Associate Art of Problem Solving (AoPS) develops educational opportunities for many of the most eager students in the world. Since 2003, we have trained tens of thousands of the countrys top students, including nearly all the members of the US International Math Olympiad team, through our online school, learning centers, textbooks, and online learning systems. Over the years, our international online community of advanced problem solvers has grown to over 700,000 members. While our primary focus has been math for most of our history, we have started expanding into new subjects, such as language arts, science, and computer science.
As part-time front desk staff at our location in **Lexington/Waltham, MA**, you will answer phone calls and emails, warmly welcome both current and prospective students and their families, and act as the friendly face of AoPS Academy while classes are in session. Additionally, in this role you will support campus operations by helping take inventory, tidying up the facility, and assisting the full-time staff with other campus procedures to ensure things are running smoothly.
This is an in-person, part-time position at our Lexington/Waltham campus beginning Fall 2021 (August/September). Front Desk hours will be set shifts between 2:30pm - 8:30pm on weekdays and 9am - 5pm on weekends. Hours can be flexible between 10 - 30 hours per week.

**Requirements:**
* Excellent written and spoken communication skills
* Customer service experience, a plus if it was with students and families
* Ability to commute to campus location
* Availability to work weekday evenings & weekends
* Motivated to learn and comfortable with new technologies
* Strong organizational skills and process efficiency
* Lift up to 25lbs
* Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM preferred
