Our goal is to work with patients to help them make beneficial lifestyle and nutritional choices. We focus on the human body's innate capability to heal, fight off, and prevent disease. Our offices in Bohemia and Bethpage offer chiropractic, nutrition advising, massage therapy, and additional clinical services to help patients get to and maintain optimal wellness. Responsibilities
Check patients in and out of the office, take payment, and schedule follow-up appointments - update information on EMR Answer phone calls as they come in and return missed phone calls in a timely manner Support our practitioners with administrative activities, including bringing patients to rooms and pulling patient charts Maintain organized documentation and office space, such as filing patient charts and supplement charts back in the shelves Communicate medical record requests with the office manager and billing requests and challenges with the biller Requirements Qualities we are looking for:
Positive Demeanor: Have a client service demeanor and represent the company well on the phone and in the office Follow Through: Have detailed oritented approach and follow through to ensure patient communication, reminders, and follow up are consistent Organized: Maintain the order of the physical and digital spaces, supplies, and documents Critical thinking: Ability to problem solve and make prudent scheduling and patient care decisions as challenges come up Must have qualifications:
- Can work until 7:30pm when we have patient overflow
- Customer service experience
- Experience with Microsoft OneDrive and/or Google Drive
- Interested in proactive wellness
Nice to haves:
- Experience with a POS (point of sale) software
- Experience with Mindbody or similar EMR (electronic medical records) software
