APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:Interested applicants should submit the following materials with their application:Cover LetterResumeTYPE OF POSITION/EMPLOYMENT CATEGORY: Part-Time, StaffDEPARTMENT: Theatre ArtsLOCATION: Manhattan CenterSCHEDULE: Shifts: Monday-Friday 4:30pm to 10:30pm; Saturday and Sunday 8:30am to 1:30pm; 1:30pm to 6:30pm (Schedule is created 4 weeks at a time)REMOTE WORK ELIGIBILITY: NoHOURS/WEEK and MONTHS/YEAR: Up to 20 hours/week and 52 weeks/yearFLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt, HourlyGENERAL PURPOSE:The Front Desk Attendant (FDA) carries out the day-to-day Studio Rental Program operations and receptionist tasks at the Manhattan Center during evenings and weekends. They are responsible for opening and/or closing the facility and are the point of contact on site for all facility, IT, and operational needs during their shift.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Opening & closing the facility according to guidelines. Implement all equipment requests during the shift.Act as point person for Studios Program inquiries: take studio reservations via phone and email, record them in reservation software, etc.Assist students, instructors, and clients regarding use of the facility and direct them to correct studio destinations, screen and direct incoming phone calls, provide support for students/instructors/client requests including photocopies, cleanliness issues, etc.Assist in maintaining the efficiency and good working conditions of the facilities and the organizational systems through the office. Other duties as assigned.Assist in overseeing the execution of agreements with respect to renters including, the verification and processing of all routine rental payments, maintaining accurate and complete records in invoicing software and client files, etc.REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience1 to 3 years of work-related experienceMicrosoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)Gateway, Concord, AdAstraKnowledge of the practices, methods, and techniques pertaining to customer service required.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Experience working with artistic personnel and students preferred.RESPONSIBILITY FOR PUBLIC CONTACT:Daily contact requiring courtesy, discretion, and sound judgment.SALARY INFORMATION:When determining the salary offer for a new employee, Molloy considers several key characteristics such as job knowledge, skills, and experience as well as internal and external equity.
