Join our team and you can watch rocket launches and meet astronauts while getting paid!* Health, dental, and vision insurance** 401k with company match** Paid vacation days and holidays** Paid parental bonding leave** Tuition or professional certification reimbursement** Weekly pay* Employee discounts on food at on-site restaurants* Generous Marriott discounts* Referral bonus - earn $200 for each eligible referral* Training and development with opportunities for internal mobility and growth including the chance to work at our other locations nationwide* Available for full-time, year-round team membersWhat will you do?* Run night audit function, reconcile credit card payments, input sales from other systems and manual sales sheets.* Front desk responsibilities, must be able to resolve guest complaints independently, check-in and check guests out and post charges for in-house accounts.* Understand guest folio, explanation of billing and how to make any needed corrections.* Review pending advance deposits and charges.* Quote room rates and room package information.* Read group resumes and know daily activities of group.* Complete shift closing, drop cash and check payments.* Secure bank at all times and follow proper cash handling policies.* Answer and direct incoming calls.* Cash handling and accountability; maintain accurate paperwork as it relates to front office operations.* Check and balance the daily figures, post room and tax charges on guest accounts.* Perform other duties as assigned.More about you* Must be at least 18 years old to apply.* Previous experience in cash handling.* Previous experience in customer service environment is beneficial.* Good communication skills; ability to communicate with guests and team members.* Basic math skills; ability to accurately handle money and count change.* Experience using Microsoft Excel.* Must be able and willing to cross train in night audit.Physical requirements* Stand and walk for extended periods of time.* Must be able to walk, bend, twist, crouch, push, pull and climb stairs throughout shift.Shift detailsDay shiftEvening shiftSplit shiftWeekendsWho we areDelaware North operates Courtyard by Marriott Titusville - Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
