Front Desk Coordinator Floats use their collaborative team skills to work in various locations throughout the Daytona/Volusia County Region.
Provide proactive customer service; accept referrals; schedule appointments; evaluate information; maintain confidentiality; read, interpret, and apply regulations, policies, and procedures; explain insurance verification; work with minimal supervision and with extensive detail; work cooperatively with others; use various computer applications; and organize work and set priorities to meet deadlines.
Responsibilities:
* Provide a positive patient experience through patient engagement
* Assure benefits have been verified, authorization was received, and review intake documents for completion before the evaluation and follow up treatments per insurance guidelines
* Scheduling patient follow up appointments per insurance guidelines and plan of care prescribed by evaluating clinician
* Collect co-payments, co-insurance, and deductible at time of service
* Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
* Maintaining patient records and accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating the account
* Maintain communication with the center manager and provider relations specialist
* Effectively communicate both verbally and written with referral sources and vendors
Qualifications:
* High School diploma or equivalent
* Minimum of two years of experience working with customers in the medical, service or hospitality industries
* Basic understanding of insurance
Hours: Monday - Friday, Part-Time; hours between 7am - 6pm
