Job Description:
We are currently looking for a qualified Front Desk/Hygiene Coordinator to join our modern and sophisticated dental office. You have experience working in a professional environment, communicating with clients or patients. This position provides oversight for hygiene scheduling and new patients, and is otherwise a focal point of patient communication and scheduling, working in tandem with the billing and treatment coordinators.The right candidate must have the following attributes:

  • Knowledge of dentistry is preferred but not necessary. We will train the right individual.

  • $20 - $25 / hour
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Greets all patients and visitors in a warm, sincere, and helpful manner
  • Manages inbound phone inquiries and routes calls accordingly
  • Schedules and confirms patient appointments
  • Assists with and advises on marketing for the office
  • Maintains a neat, clean office and reception area
  • Provides administrative assistance as needed
  • Attends all staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as required
  • Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
  • College degree preferred; minimum of high school diploma with some post high school education or training
  • Two years of relevant experience preferred
  • Helpful attitude and friendly demeanor
  • Highly professional and dependable
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
  • Strong organization skills, able to multi-task, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent telephone skills
  • Strong computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience with dental practice management software a plus
