Job Description:
Grand Reserve in Grand Blanc, Michigan is a luxurious 55+ active adult community Built by Del Webb. Grand Reserve has a 15,500 square-foot clubhouse called Grandview Lodge providing indoor activity options including a pool and a fitness center. There, all can work out or partake in yoga, water volleyball and fitness classes. Residents will also find a card room, business center, and an arts and crafts studio. Outdoors, residents can engage in an invigorating tennis match or socialize while playing a game of tennis or bocce ball. The grounds also include an outdoor pool, nature trails and a beautiful fireplace pavilion.Position Summary:Primarily responsible for answering the phone lines, managing the front entrance and maintaining the reception desk, utilizing excellent customer service skills while greeting visitors and homeowners via phone and face-to-face.Position Responsibilities:
  • Provides direct receptionist support to all on-site property needs by providing the highest quality customer service to inbound callers, visitors and vendors.
  • Partners with Administrative Support team and the On-site Community Manager to effectively manage the front reception area and inbound calls as well as assist with various administrative projects.
  • Filters inbound calls to determine appropriate direction.
  • Greets all visitors/homeowners and determines their immediate needs.
  • Monitors pickups/deliveries.
  • Assisting with events.
  • Testing pool water as needed.
  • Performs other related duties as directed.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to offer support to administrative support staff with ever-changing needs.
  • Ability to elicit information from callers and visitors in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, establish priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional organization and tracking skills.
  • Ability to function efficiently in a high volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to proficiently utilize computer programs and company database systems, including MS Office (Excel, Word and Outlook), internet and e-mail systems.
  • Ability to interact and work positively and effectively with staff at all levels.
  • Advanced communication skills (both verbally and written), and the ability to communicate with all levels of management and staff.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively within the department as well as with other departments.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
  • Sitting at work station utilizing a computer in an office setting.
  • Setting up, taking down and stacking tables and chairs, bending/kneeling/stretching in regards to pool water testing.
