Position Overview:
The Front Desk/Receptionist will be the first point of contact for families, youth, program participants and other guests entering the Eliza. The selected candidate will foster a positive, welcoming environment for all. The position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and situations efficiently. The Front Desk/Receptionist is responsible for answering phones, keeping records of all activity engaged in the building clearly and articulately in logbooks, and preparing incident reports for all accidents, incidents, illegal, illicit activities and/or damage. The Front Desk/Receptionist in collaboration with the Security staff is responsible for ensuring safety and security at all times. The Front Desk/Receptionist should be aware of safety and security protocols and be able to respond appropriately in emergency situations.
Position Qualifications:
* High School diploma or equivalent and at least two years in a front desk, administrative or receptionist position.
* Some knowledge/experience working in the social service or related field is preferred.
* Computer literate in Microsoft suite, skill sets in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
