Full-time **Brief Job Description**
Shinnecock Hills Golf Club's **Front Office Representaitve** will warmly greet and welcome members, guests, employees, and vendors while acting as a concierge to members and guests, being proactive and taking the initiative to optimize their experience at the Club. A brief overview of the position includes:
Answer phones, transfer calls, take messages for members and staff using appropriate etiquette
Greet members and guest warmly and professionally
Reconcile and close out previous days accounts and charges
Register all guests, accompanied and unaccompanied
Maintain tee times of member and guest play numbers
Maintain weekly unaccompanied guests' calendar
Confirm unaccompanied guest reservations to members by email at least ten days in advance
Maintain online calendar and website
Maintain cash drawer and supervise cash advances, check cashing and petty cash following Accounting Procedures Manual
Logs in the Front Desk Book and reports unusual occurrences
Familiar with all safety and emergency procedures and accident prevention policies
Use the Jonas Management System to run reports and answer any member billing questions
Works on special assignments as assigned
Maintain an accurate Banquet Event Pack, know the daily activities, meetings and events taking place at the club
Perform general office work such as word processing, filling, mail merges, operating copy, fax and scanning machines.
**Candidate Qualifications**
High school diploma, GED equivalent or higher required. College preferred.
One or more years experience in front desk position in the hotel or private club industry.
Have a strong desire to invest, succeed, learn, and bring a positive attitude to work every day.
High level of attention to detail.
Fluent in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.

All rent and utilities are paid by the Club.
$20 charge per week for cleaning services. All rent and utilities are paid by the Club.
You will be required to pay a $250 refundable damage deposit prior to moving in.
You will be sharing a ranch-style home on property about a four minute walk to work. The accommodation includes a shared bedroom and bathroom, dining room, living room, full kitchen with a washer/dryer, Smart TV and ultra-high speed Wi-Fi.
