Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa in Millstone/Jackson NJ is seeking a full-time front desk sales manager for our recently opened spa. The ideal front desk sales manager candidate is goal oriented, and growth minded with a proven background in sales management, spa operations, and customer service. The position of Front Desk Sales Manager is designed for people who are passionate about client interactions, interested in learning about the wellness industry and kick-starting their sales career.
Ideal candidates for this role demonstrate the following attributes:
* Growth Focused Leadership - the front desk sales manager will be running the front desk of the spa, training sales associates, and working closely with our spa managers to produce both a client and team focused culture.
* Member Conversion and Customer Service - As part of the spa management team, you will lead by example. You enjoy connecting with clients to offer them individualized sales solutions. You also understand how to coach and motivate a sales team.
* Promote Health and Wellness - You understand, or want to learn more, about the benefits of massages and facials. You are comfortable educating members and guests on services, upgrades, products, and memberships.
* Multi-Tasking Expertise Have experience handling or assisting with administrative tasks- including (but not limited to) payroll, scheduling, inventory management, and sales reporting.
* Passion to Drive Results - You understand the impact of your actions and flex your strategy to drive results accommodate the needs of the business. Are available a variety of business hours including evenings and weekends.
Front Desk Sales Manager Performance will be based on the following metrics:
Membership Conversion: Implementing a sales coaching strategy and process to consistently train Spa Associates on pitching and closing membership sales.
Marketing Strategy: Local spa advertising, social media interaction, and attending local grass roots events to drive clients to our location.
Operations: Spa Associate Scheduling, performing inventory, maintaining spa appearance, and keeping morale high to deliver a consistently great client experience.
Business Minded: Understanding performance data and profitability and making decisions and adjustments based on those metrics to drive overall sales.
What you need to succeed in this role:
* 1 to 3 years management experience in the salon/spa, retail, or hospitality industry
* Sales driven!! Driving membership conversion and retention, coaching and training the front desk team. Providing feedback and role playing as well as hosting monthly meetings to assess performance.
* Ability to create a top-notch culture. Positivity, collaboration and teamwork are keys to driving success and creating a great client experience.
* Flexible schedule - this role requires a variety of hours including nights and weekends.
* Passion for promoting the benefits of massage and skin care services.
* Strong, and clear communication skills
