Overview$20.50 per hour$2,000 Sign-On Bonus!Crotched Mountain School & Village, a program of Seven Hills New Hampshire, is looking for a Residential Counselor to join our outstanding team of professionals dedicated to enhancing the lives of our students.Embark on a remarkable journey with us as we rejuvenate the beloved Crotched Mountain School and expand essential services to more children with a wide array of exceptionalitiesAbout Crotched Mountain School:Crotched Mountain School (CMS), a program of Seven Hills New Hampshire, hosts innovative special education, recreation, arts, music, and vocational programming for students, aged 5-21, who are on the autism spectrum, and/or have disabilities and other challenges that are better supported in an alternative, least-restrictive environment to their local public school system. Students have the option to live year-round in the appointed residences on the sprawling campus located in Greenfield, New Hampshire. Align student education and residential services with IEP and ILP plans.* Assist residents with residential programs and daily routines.* Complete required record-keeping, data collection, and documentation.* Select and supervise activities suited to each resident's capabilities.* Attend program and behavior meetings, orientation, and training sessions.* Perform household chores, with or without student assistance.* Ensure residents are dressed appropriately, respecting their rights and dignity.* Advocate for and protect clients' rights per current policies and procedures.* Maintain a mature and positive attitude with residents, staff, and guardians.* Perform other duties as directed.Hours:Sunday - Wednesday, 9:45pm - 7:15amQualifications* Must be at least 21 years old.* Must have a valid driver's license.* High school diploma or equivalent, plus one of the following:* Associate degree in Residential Care, Human Services, Education, Counseling, Psychology, or Recreation.* 2 years or 1000 hours of experience working with children, plus 60 college credits (including 12 in specified fields).* 2000 hours of experience working with children, plus 24 credits in specified fields.* Parent of a child over 7 years old.Why Join Us?* Competitive salary with a $2000 sign-on bonus.* Excellent benefits for full-time employees.* Four-day work weeks plus opportunity for overtime.* Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on residents' lives.Apply today to become part of our compassionate team and make a difference in the lives of our residents!
