MPS Group, Inc., is seeking a Front-Line Paint Supervisor to join our team at the GM Factory Zero facility located in Detroit, MI. This individual is responsible for the safety of personnel and subcontractors, the quality of work, managing routine industrial cleaning and out-of-scope industrial cleaning operations at the facility.
1st Shift Hours:
Sunday - Thursday 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. OR
Thursday - Sunday 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
3rd Shift Hours:
Sunday - Thursday 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. OR
Wednesday - Saturday 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.

Responsibilities and Job Duties:
* Evaluates and counsels' employees on quality and safety.
* Oversees the employee performing daily and project work.
* Provides direction, equipment, small tools, materials and supplies to support the crew.
* Acts as a customer/client liaison.
* Prepares and submits job a report as directed by the site manager, Lead Supervisor, Director and/or Customer.
* Makes recommendations and participates in continuous improvements.
* Receives and stows material and supply received.
* Inspects equipment and small tools to ensure in proper working condition and red tag and pull out of service items that are damaged, broken or malfunctioning.
* Conducts Site Inspections/buy offs/sign offs and Safety Observation Tours.
Requirements and Qualifications:
* High School Diploma.
* Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
* One year of industry related experience.
* Three years of supervisory experience.
* Must have knowledge of all equipment used on the job site as well as all personal protective equipment, safety supplies, policies and procedures.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office application.
* Must be able to pass a background check.
* Must be able to pass a drug test and physical.
