***Le poste étant situé aux États-Unis, la description de poste est disponible uniquement en anglais.******As this position in based in the United States, the job description is available in English only.*** Front of House & Cleaning Crew (Dual Role) - Blue Man Group ChicagoShow Support ServicesFull-Time PositionUnder the leadership of the Operations Manager, and the direction of the House Manager during shows, this dual role performs Front of House duties as well as Cleaning Crew duties. Front of House crew is responsible for answering and directing audience inquiries, assisting in patron traffic flow during pre-show and post-show times; monitoring patron safety and comfort; assisting with late patron seating; patrolling audience for unauthorized photography/video recording; executing show cues, and assisting with patron emergencies as needed. Cleaning Crew is responsible forthe cleaning of the entire theatre including stage, backstage, green room, bathrooms, and office areas. Cleaning shifts are separate from Front of House shifts and can occur on days when there is not a performance. Effective oral and written communication skills are essential, as are interpersonal skills. The ability to work effectively in a team environment, within established deadlines, and with a diverse population is required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management deems necessary from time to time. • Maintaining good customer relations - always ensuring a positive Blue Man experience. • Answering and directing audience inquiries - Ensure prompt, professional, and friendly responses to customer complaints. • Responding quickly to emergency needs of audience members. • Managing patron traffic flow during pre and postshow times. • Maintaining a presence in the house during show time as assigned and monitor the audience to ensure all polices and show guidelines are being followed. • Address audience issues as they arise. • Assisting in patron emergencies and evacuations. Respond quickly to emergency needs of audience members. • Attending Emergency Action Plan (EAP) meetings and Department meetings as requested. • Cleaning duties including: o Sweeping, mopping, spraying, dusting, vacuuming, and washing. o Light maintenance of cleaning equipment. o Trash and recycling removal. • Ensuring that Blue Man Group's values and artistic vision are understood and supported across the organization. • Any other work-related duties as assigned.
