What we are looking for:

Jolie is seeking a dedicated an energetic, highly motivated Front of House Manager for Jolie. Someone who is creative, financially savvy, positive, compassionate, and being driven by high standards. The Manager is responsible for supporting the daily business operations under the General Managers supervision. Your responsibilities include maintaining open lines of communication, creating a positive work environment, and actively contributing to the development of our team. Essential Functions and Duties:

    • Execute and maintain quality and consistency of food, beverage and service with full adherence to standards; act with a sense of urgency, be friendly, professional, and engaged
    • Provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere, attentive, detailed, friendly, and courteous service
    • Proactively interact with restaurant guests; build loyalty and face/name recognition
    • Positively handle guest requests and accept feedback
    • Regularly measure and evaluate service through restaurant service audits, and leveraging guest/employee feedback
    • Maintain highest level of safety, security, sanitation, and cleanliness of restaurant
    • Assist with inventory counts, costs, and maintenance as specified by GM
    • Performs other job-related duties as assigned
    • Scheduling
    • Lead and manage the service team during shifts as well as set an example of impeccable service.
    • Provide positive and constructive feedback to the team and actively recruit top-tier talent.
    • Execute training programs for hourly employees and focus on self-improvement and professional growth.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and standards.
    • Handle cash management, check registers, cash outs, and deposits.
Skills & Requirements:
  • Strong interpersonal skills (motivating, delegation, conflict management)
  • One year of casual or fine dining experience preferred
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks while maintaining standards of operations
  • Strong problem-solving, organization and time management skills
  • Excellent guest service and hospitality skills and professional presentation
  • Ability to motivate employees to work as a team to ensure that food and service meet high level standards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent planning, organization and follow-up skills
  • Must be effective at listening, understanding and clarifying concerns and issues raised by guests

Physical Demands

  • The physical demands for this position are seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, frequently lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, standing, for 4 to 8 hours, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours. These physical requirements may be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodations.

    Qualifications:

    2+ years of restaurant management experience with at least 5 years of general restaurant experience. Cocktail bar experience required.

    Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills.

    Exceptional relationship-building abilities.

    Energetic and committed to delivering world-class service.

    Work Schedule: Full-time position, 5 days per week, approximately 45-55 hours per week, weekends and evenings required.
