Management position available at our South Asheville location (1831 Hendersonville Road):

  • KEY Manager (Front of House Manager or Shift Lead)

We are a neighborhood burger joint serving 100% grassfed burgers. Our chefs partner with local farmers and ranchers to create a menu grown by the community. Whether we're creating a burger topped with our pork belly or finding a creative way to use this year's heirloom tomatoes, we bring our passion to the table.

Job Types: Full-time with 30-40 hours a week with 5 days on

Pay: Hourly Rate + Tips (which averages out to $18 - $30 per hour)

KEY Manager Job Description:

The role of KEY is to ensure all facets of service; Guest experience, Service efficiency, Food quality, Health Compliance, and FB Culture are all maintained under your watch. A good shift begins with a prepared KEY. You are expected to lead by example, utilize the KEY training tools, and essentially own every aspect of your shift. You will also be expected to promote camaraderie amongst the Team, both FOH and BOH. You will lead with respect and kindness towards the entire team, always remembering it takes many hands to lighten the load. All hands on deck is the mantra. You will also employ our See You Tomorrow service philosophy at all times. Without our guests, we are out of business.

The KEY role is a very important piece of our operation. You will be in charge of running 6 hour shifts that include running expo and directing other team members, counting drawers and distributing tips at shift changes. You not only protect the integrity of our intentions as a restaurant group, but you're also a stepping stone towards developing future General Managers. The KEY program also involves development training within 3 core categories:

  • Beverage
  • Labor
  • Paper
  • You will be deeply trained and responsible for leading (1) of these categories until mastering, then move onto the next. A fully trained KEY will have mastered each program before consideration into our Assistant General Manager program.
