OUR HOME

With locals and international visitors alike, our taproom brings together all walks of life and makes everyone part of our extended family, our brewery is situated next to Miami International Airport in the heart of Miami, close to Doral, Miami Springs, Coral Gables and Miami Lakes.

Brewing over 35 different styles annually and featuring 18 unique beers on tap. In 2025 we are set to introduce new Beer Dinner Pairings, Collaborations, limited releases and community centered events.

WHO YOU ARE

The Tank Brewing Company is looking for a Front of the House Manager to lead our team. The FOH Manager oversees the general operation of the Taproom, including but not limited to, financial performance, guest satisfaction, event coordination and staff development. FOH Manager - Manages all front-of-house operations and activities for the taproom and restaurant. Ensures team leaders and supervisors coordinate staff (hosts, cashiers, wait-staff, servers, bussers, etc.) to ensure the delivery of guest services. Oversees the cleanliness of dining and guest areas. Supervises shifts and ensures services meets restaurant standards, Enforce and monitor all restaurant health, food safety and sanitation standards. Coordinate and oversee the implementation of policies, procedures, standards, guidelines and training programs. Prepares and reviews schedules, duties and shift coverage. Compiles sales, inventory and personnel reports. May require a Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus typically a minimum of 5 years' experience in restaurant management. This person must have excellent people skills, organizational skills, employee motivation and problem solving. The FOH Manager will need to represent The Tank Brewing brands with knowledge and passion.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Meeting financial goals of the Taproom with events and promotions, keeping a tight inventory, managing labor and operational costs
  • Creating an environment that is welcoming and exciting for all customers.
  • Hiring, training, scheduling and managing of Taproom staff
  • POS System knowledge, maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting
  • Keep inventory of beers, growlers, merchandise, etc
  • Accountable for all cash/credit card sales
  • Carrying out sales procedures that minimize loss and facilitate accountability.
  • Communicating with brewery staff about upcoming beers and tap schedule.
  • Work closely with Kitchen Manager and Chef to ensure perfect execution of events and customer satisfaction
  • Work with Brewery/Marketing/Kitchen to creatively promote new beers and develop a calendar of events.
  • Working with brewery to create a staff beer training program. Ensuring that staff has a deep knowledge of all beers on tap.
  • Maintaining daily cleanliness of restaurant and organizing regular cleaning and maintenance
  • Keeping detailed records of customer complaints, employee write-ups and other daily occurrences
  • Must possess excellent communication, time management, and organization skills

Training Required:

This position requires successful completion of the Certified Beer Server exam within the first four weeks of employment. Failure to pass this exam will result in termination.

Education and Qualifications:

University degree or Diploma in Brewing, or related discipline or experience in the field for at least five (5) years.
