This standard was upheld through the expansion into Sports and Entertainment Hospitality Services by providing elevated concessions and premium offerings to collegiate stadiums, PGA golf tournaments, International Boat Shows, Professional Sports Teams, & more. We are currently seeking an experienced Front of House Supervisor to join the team at Georgia Tech. POP provides food service to GT's athletic events, special events, and student athletes. This position will lead the front of house team at our Athlete Training Table and be hospitality suites lead for football gameday and other sporting events. Responsibilities:
- Oversee the execution and details of day-to-day operations of Georgia Tech's Front of House including the athlete's training table and overseeing a team during gameday operations.
- Work very closely with GM, Culinary, and Operations team to understand and maintain needs for multiple coinciding events.
- Be an onsite supervisor during food service times.
- Training table operates 5-7 days per week with 2-3 meal times per day
- Managing time effectively to ensure all BEO/menu items are completed prior to service times.
- Managing the team that is scheduled to run each event.
- Responsible for setting buffet stations which may include décor, linens, and China.
- Ensure the client is communicated with and checked in on throughout the event.
- Assist with on-the-job training of new employees ensuring all staff is set up for success.
- Attending and executing each assigned event to ensure that it runs smoothly from the set-up to the break-down.
- Assisting in post-event tasks including inputting payroll and inventory as directed.
Performs other related duties as needed. QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in Front of House Operations, F&B Coordination, Lead Server, or equivalent
- Strong knowledge and efficiency of Microsoft Office
- Must be a team player and well organized with strong written and verbal communication skills

Work Environment The work environment for this position will mainly be food & beverage front of house operations located in Georgia Tech's food hall or athletic venues. This position will often move throughout campus stadiums and travel throughout the university grounds. Events may take place in indoor or outdoor settings. Physical Demands:
- Prolonged periods of standing, moving through an event space, and traveling from venue to venue
- Bending, lifting, scooping, and carrying miscellaneous equipment and food items
- Ability to perform physical tasks; such as but not limited to, lifting approx. 30 lbs.

Position Salary & Benefits:
- This is considered an hourly part-time position at $20/hour
- The schedule for this position may range depending on business needs but will often consist of either a morning shift covering breakfast operations or a later shift covering dinner service.
