Description:We are seeking a Front of the House (FOH) Field Trainer to join the Pappas Restaurants Main Office based in Northwest Houston. To be successful in this role, the candidate must be a current Pappas Restaurant Manager to have a strong understanding of Pappas culture and operations. The Front of House (FOH) Field Trainer spends significant time at local and out of town restaurants working shoulder to shoulder with Managers and GMs.Responsibilities Supports restaurants with compliance in Training Programs. Provides feedback to other departments on behalf of operations and assists in implementing newprocedures and evaluating existing ones. Partners with Concept Leaders in implementing best practices. Works closely with the General Manager and Floor Managers to increase awareness and improve team member practices as it pertains to Front of the House (FOH) Position Training and Operations. Assists in planning topics for the Concept Leader Meetings, General Manager Meetings, and Manager continuing education meetings. Presents topics in large group trainings. Attends conferences to stay current with industry trends and guidelines. Assists in testing Front of the House (FOH) initiatives and provides feedback to participating department.Scheduling Work a flexed schedule based on operations project needs - nights, swings, weekends, etc.Requirements: A current Pappas Restaurants Manager with a minimum of 3 years' experience as a Floor Manager Excels in leadership, AOR, and shift execution and current with all required certifications as stated on the P.A.S.S. application Recent exemplary/proficient performance reviews and the recommendation from GM and CL Bachelor's Degree in any field of study A confident and professional critical thinker with a high level of emotional intelligence Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent communication and presentation skills Highly collaborative with strong interpersonal skills Must be able to travel to different Pappas restaurant locations in and out of state.
