Job Description:

State Farm Agency located in Childress, TX has an immediate opening for a full-time Office Representative. The main role is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries and maintain high customer satisfaction. Ideal candidate is a professional with a great attitude and outgoing personality! Someone who has 'never met a stranger,' has stellar computer skills, the ability to multi-task, works well with their peers, and has a true passion for helping others. We serve the insurance needs of residents of the southeastern Panhandle of Texas and Southwest Oklahoma. The job requires licenses in Texas as well as Oklahoma and having one or both is a positive but unlicensed applicants will also be considered. Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service.
  • Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
  • Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each and every day.

  • Salary plus commission/bonus (Starting pay will be determined by whether the applicant is licensed in Texas and/or Oklahoma along with experience.)

Requirements
  • Property & Casualty license for TX and OK (must be able to obtain)
  • Life and Health license TX and OK (must be able to obtain)
  • Ability to communicate in person and on the phone effectively and clearly and above all in a courteous manner.
  • Moderate to high computers and technology skill level is required and a willingness to learn is vital.
