RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist clinical, medical, and case management staff as necessaryResponsible for Release of Information paper flow and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) data entryResponsible for obtaining information for first time clients (intakes), and updating all current client information Responsible for 30-Day Discharge Letters, and assisting with client transfersResponsible for printing daily schedules and distributing to appropriate staff Responsible for checking clients in and out Responsible for scheduling appointments, collecting fees at time of check in, answering multiple phone lines, taking messages, transferring calls, sending Nurse Notes, and making daily reminder callsResponsible for completing the weekly depositFiling and maintaining the supply of all materials for daily functioning, and the ordering of all office supplies and maintenance of office equipmentOther duties as assigned by supervisor(s)The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. - Exhibit proficiency in math functions (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and percentages).
Minimum Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities Personal:
- Detail Oriented
- Good inter-personnel skills
- Can handle multiple tasks with constant interruption, while remaining patient
- Remain calm and professional when addressing clients, and those in crisis
- Team player with a willing-to-learn attitude
- Remain aware of activities of office, while at the same time retaining confidentiality policy
- Pass a criminal background and driver's license check to the satisfaction of SCMH
