Akkodis is seeking a Frontend Developer for a Contract job with a client in Jersey City, NJ/Plano, TX (Hybrid) . Responsibilities include designing scalable solutions, ensuring performance optimization, and working on multiple projects while maintaining high-quality standards and collaborating across teams. Rate Range: $58/hour to $68/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Frontend Developer job responsibilities include:
- Designing and developing scalable web applications using React and related UI frameworks.
- Ensuring the performance, throughput, and SLA requirements are met for all applications.
- Implementing efficient design patterns to create robust and maintainable solutions.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Identifying areas for improvement within the application and implementing optimizations.
- Managing large datasets, handling data fetching, and ensuring proper authentication mechanisms.
- Maintaining high-quality standards in all deliverables and working on multiple projects concurrently.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in front-end development with strong expertise in React, HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3.
- Knowledge of the banking domain, particularly in Global Markets, Financial Risk, or Treasury.
- Experience with tools such as Ag-Grid, Redux, OpenFin, Material UI, and Node.js is a plus.
