About this role:They're seeking a fulltime Frontend Engineer to work with a team of engineers and scientists with diverse backgrounds and areas of expertise. Their Engineers work directly with customers to solve complex, mission-critical challenges using their cutting-edge products and tech. You'll be empowered to own the full solution lifecycle-from problem identification, designing and implementing data-driven solutions, to demonstrating their value in real-world scenarios. By addressing specific customer challenges, you'll play a pivotal role in refining and scaling products, and contributing to their broader adoption and success. You'll also work cross-functionally with ML Scientists, Product Designers, and external stakeholders. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience ML/AI while driving innovation across some of the world's most vital industries - helping them operate better by automating frequent, critical path decisions-from pricing and inventory management to manufacturing quality assurance - and that's just scratching the surface of what's possible. ML/AI experience not required, but an demonstrated enthusiasm and knowledge of ML/AI concepts is important (if you have worked at a company where ML/AI was the core product, or where it had a major impact on revenue, even better!) What you'll be doing:
- Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams and external customers to prototype and build novel user interfaces across the product suite
- Work closely with real users in many different countries to imagine and define what human-computer interaction looks and feels like in an age of active learning AI
- Enable users to understand the impact & performance of deployed ML systems in new and novel ways that are not only effective, but inspiring!
- Use React, Node, TypeScript, Figma, Tailwind, Framer Motion, and more - you'll employ a variety of languages, libraries, and frameworks, and tools to push the status quo
- Build prototypes including UX/UI that communicates your product ideas at the right level of fidelity, while expanding what UX/UI for AI can be
- Translate user requirements into well-designed solutions crucial to shaping the future of AI-powered applications
- Apply your principles of engineering, design, and product across the full stack of their systems
About you:
- Ideally 4+ years of professional experience post-graduation in software engineering or a related field
- Strong plus if you have a Computer Science degree
- Demonstrated enthusiasm and knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning concepts
- Proficient in React, Node, Typescript - and a proven ability to write clean, efficient code
- You know your way around at the basics of Figma (or similar UI design program)
- A plus (but not required) if you have experience in Tailwind and/or Framer Pro
- As you'll deploy both domestically and internationally - you're available and enthusiastic to travel and interact with clients
- Embody deep user empathy to partner with designers, engineers, scientists, and customers, ensuring that their AI techniques and technologies translate into scalable tools, services, and customer experiences
- Strong communication skills with empathy for end-users, ensuring usability across UI, API, and SDKs
- Instinct to break down complex problems into small building blocks, with a high bar for product aesthetics and functionality
