Job DescriptionOur entertainment client is seeking a Frontend/Fullstack Software Engineer to join their Product Engineering team. This team is responsible for building out tools for a self-service portal that supports their internal business operations team, who provides end users with subscription price offerings globally. As a Frontend/Fullstack Software Engineer, this individual will be expected to design and build new features for the clients Offering Management platform. This role is 60-75% new feature development and 35-40% maintenance. This individual will be a JavaScript expert while utilizing the Typescript framework and React library to successfully build out features that streamline efficiency for the self-service platform. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, not afraid to propose solutions, be an active contributor on the team, and take initiative.Responsibilities include:- Develop and maintain web applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.- Design and implement serverless architectures using AWS services such as SQS, Kinesis, EC2, ECS, and Lambda.- Work with databases including DynamoDB and Aurora to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.- Troubleshoot and debug issues across the stack.- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices and coding standards.- Develop and execute integration tests, ensuring a seamless integration between frontend components and API to ensure reliable user experience, and maintain unit test coverageWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
