Frontier Elementary Day Custodian
: Job Details :

The day custodian position requires but is not limited to the following:Must be able to perform the following tasks on a daily basis:1. Lift up to 50 pounds2. Set up for special events3. Move furniture4. Possess a thorough understanding of cleanliness5. Perform work overhead such as cleaning air diffusers, washing windows6. Push, pull, manipulate two and four wheel loaded carts, shovel snow, spread Ice melt chemicals and work on slick surfaces7. Work outdoors in extreme temperatures both hot and cold8. Unclog toilets when needed9. Clean up biological wastes as needed10.Stand on feet for extended periods and walk between buildings11.Ability to maneuver and operate equipment: Vacuum, mop/bucket, Floor scrubber/stripper, Burnisher, climb ladders12.Communicate effectively with others13 Make correct assessments and judgments regarding tasks and equipment14.Stoop and bend on a regular basis15.Climb and work on stairs and bleachers16.Understand proper use of cleaning chemicals17.Work independently with minimal supervision18,Work well within a team19. Other duties as assignedWork and break schedule will normally consist of two - 15 minute breaks and one hour lunchbreak.
