POSITION SUMMARY: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Nurse Manager - Nursing Float Pool. In this role, the successful candidate Responsible for the ongoing development and maintenance of a centralized staffing system. Analyzes the centralized staffing system's ability to meet fluctuating staffing needs. Responsible for the management of all supplemental staff in the float pool, including hiring, orientation and performance evaluations.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To qualify you must have a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Required. Current and valid NYS Registered Professional Nurse License Required. 3-5 years of Clinical Nursing experience in an acute environment Required. Certification in relevant practice area required. Excellent communication (both oral and written), interpersonal, organization, critical thinking, problem solving, leadership skills Required. Basic computer skills Required.. REQUIRED LICENSES: Registered Nurse License-NYS, Registered Nurse License-NYS
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master's Degree in Nursing Preferred. 1-2 years of Leadership or supervisory experience Preferred.
