Position Description

Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Fuel Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Fuel Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of fuel to various customers including commercial clients, construction sites, and residential areas. You will be responsible for operating fuel delivery trucks, handling various types of fuel, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of fuel delivery processes and a high level of professionalism when interacting with customers. You will be required to perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintain accurate delivery records, and handle any issues that may arise during delivery operations. This role also demands physical capability as the deliveries could be in various situations trucks cannot reach.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate fuel delivery vehicles safely and efficiently according to established routes.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of delivery vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Deliver fuel to customers in a timely manner while adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of fuel deliveries including quantity, type, and customer information.

Position Requirements

Requirements:

  • Valid commercial driver's license (Class A or B) with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements.
  • Proven experience as a fuel delivery driver or in a similar role is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for fuel delivery and transportation.
  • Must pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policies.
  • Ability to operate fuel delivery trucks and tanker vehicles safely under various conditions.
