Starting pay rate: $38.21/Hr

20-40% required travel

Responsibilities:

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

Responsible for the maintenance, surveillance and function as the primary operator of Refuel Bridge for fuel movement; to perform related work as assigned. Typical examples of duties are:

? Fuel receipt, inspection, preparation and movement.

? Operation of cranes, systems and equipment associated with Fuel Handling activities.

? All fuel pool activities involving such work as: cleanup, storage, loading of casks and packaging of irradiated materials.

? Dry cask storage activities including cask preparation, loading, drying and assisting with cask sealing, cask movement operations and storage.

? Receiving, packaging of equipment for shipping, storing and preparing for use refuel equipment such as filter units, refuel tooling, lifting devices and plugs.

? Support IVVVI and IS work.

? Assist with cavity wall washing and general decon activities of equipment and floors.

? Cavity set-up for flood up and drain down, including installation and removal of equipment such as flange protectors, cattle chutes and weir plates.

? Installation and maintenance of foreign material exclusion (FME) areas around vessel and pools.

? Retrieval of foreign materials as assigned.

? Pre-outage set-up, mobilization and demobilization/restoration of the refuel floors, fuel buildings and PWR containment as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Successful completion of screening exam (MASS)
  • Successful completion of Targeted Selection Interview
Qualifications:

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5 years of previous experience in the following areas:
  • ANSI -18.1-1971 qualified
  • Minimum of 3 years in 1 or more craft.
  • Be capable of learning and applying basic skills in maintenance operations
  • Fuel Handling
  • Mechanical Maintenance
  • Construction
  • Heavy equipment operator
  • COL license
  • Material handling such as operation of forklifts and cranes, hoists and grapples
