AGRILAND FS is looking for a data driven strong communicator to negotiate, ,analyze and communicate pricing of petroleum products. This individual will work in our Winterset corporate office and play an integral role in providing our customers with the petroleum and propane energy they need. Core responsibilities:
- Responsible for creating and maintaining vendor relationships
- Track and ensure company compliance and access to a variety of terminals
- Negotiate supply agreements
- As pricing changes analyze and communicate least cost to logistics team
- Update and prepare pricing and location data to be used on a timely basis
- Assist the procurement team with pricing strategies for a variety of markets
- Ability to assist with other procurement responsibilities
What we need from you:
- Requires a minimum of a four-year business degree or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to work in fast paced office environment, handling interruptions & distractions
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Experience using tools to help analyze and present data (Spreadsheet software etc.)
- Timely decision-making experience with the ability to analyze and communicate
- Experience demonstrating negotiation skills
- Attention to detail with experience problem solving on the job
- Time management & organization skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Strong business skills with the ability to learn how the role supports business goals
- Excellent computer skills including demonstrated use in Microsoft Office with emphasis in Excel or other data analytic tools
- Demonstrate the ability to learn proprietary software
- Ability to work extended hours beyond those considered normal
