Job Description:
Job Summary: The Fuel Systems Branch Manager responsibilities include assisting travel crews, managing inventory, and serving as point contact for maintenance crews. This role includes managing shipping and receiving activities, ensuring efficient logistics, maintaining accurate inventory, and ensuring that all products and materials are handled appropriately. Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily branch operations.
  • Implement and maintain processes to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with industry standards.
  • Manage the branch's expense budget.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and equipment performance.
  • Collaborate with project managers, construction managers, scheduling and safety teams to schedule service jobs.
  • Manage the shipping and receiving functions of the branch, ensuring that all incoming and outgoing shipments are handled promptly and accurately.
  • Oversee the inspection of received parts for accuracy, quality, and quantity.
  • Organize parts and equipment for scheduled service jobs.
  • Prepare and present reports to upper management, highlighting key performance metrics, challenges, and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure all financial operations are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.
Skills/Abilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact at the location
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • In-depth understanding of safety and environmental regulations related to fuel systems
  • Experience in process improvement and operational efficiency
  • Thorough understanding of inventory and purchasing procedures and policies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask/prioritize work.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or similar field
  • Minimum 2 or more years of experience in the construction field
  • Knowledge of fuel systems, including storage, dispensing, and related maintenance requirements, preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
