FULFILLMENT CENTER ASSOCIATE Full-time, onsite in Irondale (Birmingham), AL. Temporary assignment (November 2024 through January 2025)HOW YOU WILL IMPACT THE BIG PICTURE: Under the direction of the Fulfillment Center Manager, you will participate in order fulfillment including picking, packing & shipping. You will maintain inventory integrity, label, shrink-wrap, and perform quality control. WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Pick customer orders according to picklists verifying accuracy using RF device and determines appropriate shipping container for each request.
- Pack each order once picking is complete, verifying accuracy and quality of product. Provides adequate packaging for each order for safe transit to customer.
- Process completed packages using Order Management System or third party shipping software according to carrier requirements and prepare shipments for daily pickup.
- Support daily fulfillment operations by making boxes, restocking, repackaging, and labeling product as requested.
ABOUT YOU:
- You have previous experience in retail and/or warehouse/fulfillment operation.
- You are proficient in computer skills, including ability to use an RF device.
- Some of your key soft skills include good interpersonal skills, resourcefulness, organized, team player.
- You must be physically able to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 35 pounds.
- You must be able to stand for long hours and work in a safe manner.
- You have a a High School diploma or GED.
- You must be able to work 40 or more hours per week (will vary), including Saturdays in December as needed
