About the Role: Established company in central Fresno is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Full-Charge Bookkeeper to join the team. This individual oversees all aspects of financial record-keeping and reporting. Job Description: As the Full-Charge Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing the company's financial transactions and ensuring accuracy and compliance. This role requires a solid understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update general ledger accounts
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and monthly financial statements
- Prepare financial reports and statements for management
- Manage payroll processing and related tax filings
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred but not required
- Minimum of 10 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
