Precise Systems is seeking an Engineering Technician to join our team in Patuxent River, MD. The Engineering Technician will provide technical and engineering support services for PMA-209. ACCOM/ARC-210 Program requires qualified Engineering Technician capable of obtaining a top secret clearance supporting ARC-210 engineering and program training requirements.
Position requires experience with tactical radios with Embedded Communication Security (COMSEC) devices. To meet this requirement, there needs to be a thorough understanding of VHF and UHF waveforms used in DOD aircraft. Work products includes technical white papers, mission planning test reports, and curriculum development products. Additionally, the requirement includes management of COMSEC account at the contractor facility. The position will also support integration and fielding of technology changed to support retrofit of equipment, cryptographic algorithms, along with SATCOM and Anti-jam waveform modernization. The candidate may represent PMA209 at a series of forums and platform meetings requiring TACCOM/ARC-210 attendance.
Required Education : AA or AS Degree in a Technical Discipline.
Required Experience : At least 3 years of practical experience in lab testing, manufacturing, or maintenance.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
