Full Stack Engineer

Sante

Location: New York,NY, USA

Date: 2025-01-03T15:19:10Z

Job Description:

Santé is a modern POS for liquor stores. This market has historically been overlooked by software companies, and we believe we can scale to $100M+ ARR in a few years. We grew 27x (2,600%) in 2024 and are expecting to double our customer base in the next 3 months.

We are looking for an entrepreneurial full-stack software engineer to join our in-person team in NYC. In this role, you will work closely with the founders to drive the direction of the product and build powerful software for millions of business owners.

Who you'll work with

You will report to the co-founder and CTO, Antoine, who is a UC Berkeley alum with a decade of experience building software. Over the last ten years, Antoine co-founded three startups that generated $34M in pre-sales, raised $20M, and built a team of 50+ engineers. You will work closely with all founders to build an industry leading product and world-class engineering team.

What you'll work on

You will help build an advanced POS system that processes hundreds of millions of dollars per year (and soon billions). You will have a hand in everything from talking to customers, to prioritizing features, to hiring. As we grow the team, you will have opportunities to explore a wide range of technical and managerial roles.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a React/Nextjs developer.
  • Proficient in all the components of the T3 stack.
  • Strong DevOps experience with AWS and Vercel.
  • Strong knowledge of software development principles, including database design, algorithms, and data structures.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technologies, and enthusiasm to contribute at all levels of the stack as needed.

Our values

Intensity: you enjoy working at a pace that most would find uncomfortable. You pride yourself on your ability to create products that make users go “wow”.

Ownership: If something is broken, you will raise your hand and fix it. If something needs a process, you will proactively create one. You are comfortable with saying “I don't know but I will get back to you” and you do.

Kindness: You work collaboratively, help your teammates and care about the culture of the team you are helping build.

Compensation

$120K - $180K + Significant equity

This is an in-person role in NYC. Our office is in Manhattan and our compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to you, including your skill set, years of experience, etc.

Our interview process is short and to the point, and we can make a final decision in days. We respect your time and will communicate clearly with you throughout the process.
