Job Purpose / Summary:
The Business Systems Developer, reporting to the Applications Development Manager in IT, will leverage development best practices to design, develop, support, and ensure the integrity and availability of the Pearlman Group's applications, analytics, and reporting.
A successful candidate will be self-motivated and driven to investigate and resolve issues with applications and data integrations while balancing multiple projects. The candidate will have excellent troubleshooting and communication skills as well as the ability to work directly with business leaders to determine their needs and design preferences, creating full stack code and running tests to ensure that appropriate code design is used, and security standards are being met. The candidate will operate as a servant leader, mentoring teammates in areas where their skill set provides.
Qualifications & Education Requirements:
5-7 years overall experience as a Software Developer or comparable experience.
3-5 years of experience in C#.Net.
3-5 years of experience working with Front-end JavaScript and CSS frameworks, esp. Vue and Bootstrap.
3-5 years API development, design, and integration, REST, JSON, XML, XSD translation to payloads.
3-5 years of experience with SQL server.
3-5 years in Crystal Reports, SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
Solid understanding of stateful API integrations is a MAJOR plus.
Experience with Epicor Prophet 21 ERP and its APIs is a preferred and a MAJOR plus.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Web Development, Software Development, or related field.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to partner with colleagues and provide technical support.
