Full Stack Java Developer - Senior Client: Plymouth Rock Location: Boston, MA - 4 days onsite per week Visa : USC /GC Rate: $60/hr C2C Duration : 6+ months contract *Please check with candidates if they have been submitted/interviewed with Plymouth Rock over the past few months. Thanks! *RTR - I authorize Randstad Digital to represent me for the position at Plymouth Rock Assurance in Boston. This is my first submission for this role. I confirm my availability for an onsite interview and am able to work four days onsite in Boston. Responsibilities: -Work with Business Analysts to understand requirements and translate to design -Source code development -Unit test case development -Functional/system integration testing support and Deployment -Support production as needed and meet development schedules Qualifications: -Bachelor's Degree, in Computer Science or a related field. -Minimum 5 years of experience developing web-based applications -Minimum 5 years development experience in Java/J2EE technologies -Strong Communication Skills The successful candidate must have, in order of importance: -Experience with Spring, Spring MVC, an ORM framework (myBatis or Hibernate preferred) -Experience using and implementing RESTful web services -Experience with Java, JavaScript, JSP, CSS, HTML, jQuery -Experience with multi-threading using core Java libraries particularly the Executor framework. -Knowledge of XML, JSON, and AJAX techniques -Strong understanding of SQL database design -Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. -The below skills are nice to have in addition to the required skills in order of preference: -Experience with JBoss, Apache, Tomcat -Experience with Angular, React, Node.js and XSLT -Experience with unit testing frameworks such as jUnit or Selenium -Strong understanding of stored procedures -Experience with Cloud technologies focused on AWS -Experience with CI/CD Pipelines -Familiarity with Web application security considerations -Must have good understanding of non-functional requirements (performance, scalability, maintainability, security) -Prior experience developing property & casualty applications -Familiarity with developing cross-browser and cross-platform compatible solutions
