Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid)

Note: Need someone with State/Federal client experience and Must be local to Austin, TX only (Non- Locals won't work for this role)

Job Description

Client requires the services of 2 Systems Analyst 3, hereafter referred to as Candidates, who meet the general qualifications for Systems Analyst 3, Applications/Software Development, as outlined in this document.

All work products resulting from the project shall be considered works made for hire and are the property of the client. Potential candidates may be required to undergo criminal background checks as authorized by Texas law. client will not pay fees for interviews or discussions that occur during the candidate selection process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand business objectives and problems, identify alternative solutions, and perform cost/benefit analysis of alternatives.
  • Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or improve existing computer systems.
  • Consult with personnel to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input/output requirements, such as forms of data input, summarization of data, and report formats.
  • Write detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs.
  • Review system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested changes can be implemented within existing systems.

Minimum Skills and Qualifications:

  • Required:
  • 8 years of proven experience as a Full Stack Developer.
  • Strong proficiency in both front-end and back-end development.

Preferred:

  • 6 years of cloud experience, preferably with AWS technologies such as AWS Amplify, AWS Lambda, Amazon API Gateway, and serverless services.
  • 4 years of experience with front-end technologies like HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and React JS.
  • 4 years of back-end development experience using Python.
  • Experience in cloud web application development.
  • 4 years of experience with database development, including relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or Snowflake.
  • 4 years of DevOps experience.
  • Experience with networking, including cloud-based network configuration and troubleshooting.
  • 4 years of experience with container technologies.
  • 1 year of excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a relevant field.

Work Details:

  • Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding State holidays.
  • Location: Primary work location is at 701 W 51st St, Austin, TX 78751. The position is hybrid, with 2 days on-site (Tuesdays and Thursdays) and 3 days remote. Local candidates only.
  • Any travel, per diem, parking, and/or living expenses shall be at the candidate's expense unless pre-approved by the agency.
  • Candidates may be required to work outside normal hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, as needed.

Other Special Requirements:

  • Interviews will be conducted via Microsoft Teams.
  • Renewal options may apply, with up to three one-year renewals at the discretion of the agency.
