We are seeking candidates who have a passion for working with seniors. Applicants should be creative, outgoing, and motivational to our residents in activities and events.Requirements of the Activities Aide:
- High School diploma or GED
- Must be available every other weekend
- Must be able to relate professionally and positively to our residents and families and to work cooperatively with others
- You should be observant, driven, creative, and caring
- A wholehearted individual whose interests lie with our residents, and meeting the recreation program and service needs.
- Must successfully complete a post offer, pre-employment criminal background check and physical / drug screen.
Responsibilities of the Activities Aide:
- Assisting the Activity Director in the development, organization, coordination, and implementation of comprehensive therapeutic recreation services and programs that meet the needs and interests of each resident.
- Complete required documentation, assist with planning and leadership of special events, and maintain activity department supplies and equipment.
- Stage entertaining, engaging activities that will appeal to the age and physical or emotional condition of the resident.
