The Associate Addiction Therapist will also perform additional tasks as permitted by OASAS Scope of Practice which may include Intake, Group facilitation, psych education, referrals, care coordination, reporting and record keeping.STATUS: Full TimeDEPARTMENT: Outpatient Chemical DependencySCHEDULE: Day / EveningLOCATIONS:Greece Chemical Dependency Clinic1565 Long Pond Road, Rochester, NY 14626Evelyn Brandon Health Center81 Lake Ave, Rochester, NY 14608Rochester Mental Health Center490 East Ridge Road, Rochester, NY 14621ATTRIBUTESHigh School Diploma, GED, Associates Degree, or Bachelor's Degree required1-3 years of experience in a chemical dependency setting requiredRESPONSIBILITIESScreening of clients presenting for admission to substance use disorder programs.Intake and orientationCase management, referrals, care coordination and connection to community providers and servicesProvides basic crisis responses and client support pre and post admissionGroup facilitation as permitted under the required OASAS Scope of Practice supervision and oversightProvides psychiatric and addiction educationResponsible for reporting and record keeping required for programs and outside stakeholders (OASAS, legal, county, grants etc.)Makes collateral calls, obtaining consentsEngaging clients during intake and pre-admission via telephonic, video and in person methods.Preparing and obtaining toxicology screens (observing)Participates as a contributing member of an interdisciplinary team in coordination and delivery of patient care.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: S - Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.PAY RANGE: $18.25 - $25.00The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future.
