Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)Warner Robins, Georgia, USAPart TimeCompany DescriptionWe utilize empirically supported behavior analytic interventions to ensure that not only the child but the family members that support them, reach their goals, one point at a time.GPBG is looking for a dynamic, passionate, energetic individual to perform one-on-one therapy with children ranging in ages from 18 months to 21 years that have been diagnosed with autism. Job DescriptionThe Registered Behavior Technician provides direct one-on-one behavioral interventions to teach communication, social, and daily living skills and reduce problematic behaviors primarily in a center setting. Registered Behavior Technicians will utilize interventions developed out of the science of Applied Behavior Analysis.SchedulePart-time employees are assigned either a morning or afternoon time slot. Any part-time candidate must be able to work Monday - Friday and one of the following schedules within their assigned time slot:Morning Time Slot:Mon-Fri 8:30am - 12:30pm Mon-Fri 8:30am - 1:30pm Mon-Fri 9:30am - 2:30pmAfternoon Time Slot:Mon-Fri 12:30pm - 5:15pm Mon-Fri 1:30pm - 5:15pmKey responsibilities:Provide 1:1 direct client care utilizing a combination of intensive teaching and naturalistic environment trainingFollow the prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols as designed by case manager and trained by case manager or assistant case managerFollow and record data for prescribed toilet training, function living, adaptive, and desensitization protocolsCollect, record, and summarize data for observable client behaviorUnder the supervision of the case manager and/or ACM update and maintain data collection systems and disseminate information to the teamWrite and submit a clinic note by the end of every sessionWrite and provide a parent note for each sessionAccept, apply, and provide positive and constructive feedback regarding clinical and professional skills on a regular basisAssist with assessments, session support and material developmentAttend on-going staff education and training on client behavioral and skill acquisition protocols through case management, staff development, and morning meetingsComplete assigned readings and objectivesComplete daily RBT duties as assignedCompensation and Benefits:Competitive pay based on experienceResearch opportunitiesCompany incentive programsQualifications:Good verbal and written communication skillsGood interpersonal relationship skillsDesire for continued learning opportunities, and willingness to embrace instructionAbility to work with multi-disciplinary team members, and a desire to work with young childrenReliable attendance recordMust complete Registered Behavior Technician credential requirements within time frame set forth by BACB (refer to Office Administrator for more information)BA or BS in psychology, social work, special education or related field preferred.
