Position Overview:
AB Facility Services (ABFS) is looking for a full-time cleaner to provide cleaning services for a client in Parsippany, NJ. This is a permanent, Union position. Candidates must speak English fluently to be considered.
Essential Functions:
- Cleans and maintains buildings/facilities.
- Notifies managers concerning the need for minor or major repairs.
- Establishes and maintains effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.
- Complies with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities.
- Must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Vacuum all carpets wall to wall.
- Remove spots from the carpet that can be removed with standard spotting.
- Sweep all hard surface floors.
- Clean and sanitize drinking.
- Spot clean metal doorframes and door tracks.
- Remove fingerprints from elevator doors.
- Clean all open stairwells surfaces.
- Damp mop all hard surface floors.
- Clean all entrance door glass on both sides and polish frames.
- Dust all ledges.
- Vacuum entrance.
- Polish all brass and metal.
- Remove all trash collected.
- Clean and deodorize trash containers.
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Classification, Pay & Work Hours
- Type: Full-Time Permanent Position
- Pay: $18.00 - $18.48 per hour
- Work Hours: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
Qualifications:
- Must speak English fluently.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must meet all requirements to work legally in the U.S.
- Must have a minimum of two years of cleaning experience.
