About the Customer Relations Position:

Full-Time, Entry Level

This position supports Management and Customer Relations Department to provide excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong written and verbal skills to respond to phone calls as well as customer inquiries professionally.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greets and assists customers at the front desk.
  • Answer and redirect all phone calls to the appropriate department and provide assistance as needed.
  • Stay informed on all products offered by SIMCOM.
  • Provide administrative support to mid-level and senior management.
  • Handling all mailing and shipping procedures through FedEx, UPS, USPS, and Stamps.com
  • Maintain electronic records, archives, and corporate documents.
  • Process purchase orders and maintain inventory of office supplies.
  • Schedule and ensure the preparation of company meetings and assist with internal events.
  • Maintain Simulator Flight Logs and Simulator Reliability Reports.
  • Enhance security measures by assigning access cards to incoming customers.
  • Contact customers on weekly basis to confirm upcoming training events.
  • Collect payment from clients for upcoming courses and post on financial systems.
  • Assist Instructors with travel coordination for offsite training events.
  • Assist Customer Relations department on an as-needed basis.
  • Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
  • Education and Qualification Requirements:

    • Experience in all Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Publisher.
    • Required to have strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, customer service and organizational skills.
    • Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple projects and tasks with little or no supervision.
    • Must be able to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
    • Exemplifies willingness to learn and develop knowledge for aviation.
    • Two plus years of experience in an office environment.

    Physical Environment/ Working Conditions:

    • Office environment.
    • May have some light lifting up to 30lbs.
    • May require prolonged periods of sitting, standing, bending and stooping.
    • May have prolonged computer and phone usage.
