A busy bi-coastal couple is seeking a top-notch, career Nanny/Governess to manage the care of their infant as they grow into a toddler and beyond! All responsibilities are childcare related. The family's ideal applicant will be experienced, educated, poised, developmentally savvy, flexible, emotionally intelligent, and multilingual.

The Nanny will be responsible for:

Planning activities (including researching & booking local classes)

Engaging in age-appropriate play

Monitoring milestones

Diapering and bathing

Bottle-feeding and sterilizing bottles & toys

Maintaining sleep & feeding schedules

Traveling with the family, primarily between their main residences in South Florida (Miami-Dade County) and Los Angeles, CA

Other regular annual travel includes:

3-6 weeks of the summer in Europe (this year will be heavy time in Malta)

1 week in St Barts

End of year holiday ski vacations among others

The family also has a home in NYC and hopes to spend more time there throughout the year. Applicants must have experience caring for infants and helping them transition through their developmental stages as they age (transitioning to solids, toilet training, etc.). Applicants should also have experience caring for toddlers and growing children as the family is hoping to find a person to add to their adventurous and contemporary family and staff long-term.

Requirements:

Must swim, drive, and have a valid passport

CDC vaccines (other than Covid, as optional) must be up to date

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with others while taking the lead with childcare at all times

There is a small dog in the home, though no care is required. The family would like someone who resides in the Miami-Dade area or who is willing to relocate there. The standardized schedule is either Tuesday through Saturday or Sunday through Thursday from 10 am to 8 pm with flexibility for additional time.

Salary is in the $100-130K range, depending on experience, plus it will include fully paid benefits (health, dental, vision) and a vesting/match on a 401K plan.
