Moldaw Residences is recruiting for a hospitality focused Host to join our culinary team! This role provides full-scope, hands-on serving functions within the community. Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Dining Room Server:
- Consistently keep the Host Stand and surrounding area is clean, neat, and tidy.
- Provide fair and consistent seating for residents.
- Receive and record reservations by phone or in person.
- Receive incoming calls / process all requests related to Dining.
- Check the floor, chairs and tables tops and for accuracy and cleanliness.
- Assist in clearing and resetting tables as needed.
- Maintain complete knowledge of table/seat/station numbers, room capacity, hours of operation and proper table set ups.
- If any orders are TO GO , enter them into the POS system, assist in packing the order and take to the designated location and/or deliver to the resident's apartment.
- Provide information to residents as requested.
- Report all issues or concerns to the Supervisor or Director.
- Assist in maintaining a high level of customer service for our residents and their guests.
Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:
- Minimum completion of sophomore year in high school required
- Experience in food service work preferred
- Experience in working with seniors preferred
