Overview:$17/HR 40+HRS/WKThe full-time Truck Driver is responsible for delivering material to customer job sites, forklift operation, and maintaining the lumber yard and warehouse. Must have a valid state-issued driver's license and safe driving record. Responsibilities include:Building loads for delivery and unloading freight including lumber and building suppliesForklift training, certification, and operationMaintaining a safe, clean and well-organized lumber yard and warehouseCommunicating delays or discrepancies with managementOther duties as assigned.Responsibilities:CommunicationTime ManagementForklift OperationKeeps management aware of any delays or discrepanciesQualifications:Be at least 21 years old.Read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records.Safely operate the assigned commercial motor vehicle.Provide (on an annual basis) a true and correct copy of your Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and a list of violations or the certificate as required by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act.Be physically qualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle in accordance with the requirements of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety ActNot be disqualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle under the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act.Complete or have completed a driver's road test and has been issued a valid and current certificate of driver's road test, or its equivalent, in accordance with the requirements of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act.Depending on the truck and/or hauler, you may be required to have a commercial motor vehicle licenseDepending on the truck and/or hauler, you may be required to have a valid and current Medical Exam certificate or card.High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
