Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Full-time Inpatient Rehab Nursing Assistant to provide high quality, patient-centered care by assisting with basic patient care services and activities of daily living under the supervision of the Registered Nurse. The ideal candidate is currently enrolled and in good standing in an accredited school of Nursing.

• Obtain and record initial and ongoing patient information
• Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, feeding
• Document and report patient observations and interactions
• Assist with patient mobility and transfers
• Provide non-medicated support care and specimen collection

Requirements

• Volunteer or experience in an acute care hospital setting - preferred
• Age specific knowledge of patient population in the specific department - preferred
• Currently enrolled and in good standing with an accredited school of Nursing
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross - required
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification - preferred
